X-rays and Ultrasound
At Close Veterinary Clinic, we use the best in radiological and ultrasonographic technology. By using x-rays and ultrasounds, we’re able to diagnose a wide range of illnesses in your dog or cat.
All of our radiographs are taken by our in-house veterinary technicians at the clinic. Pets requiring an ultrasound will do so under the care of an ultrasonographer brought into the clinic.
Bone and muscle disorders
Problems in the teeth, jaw or temporomandibular joint
Problems with the digestive system
In-House Diagnostic Laboratory
We are a fully equipped clinic with in-house diagnostic lab machines. Within minutes, we can run and evaluate comprehensive blood profiles, urinalysis and cytology. In the rare event that a blood sample needs to be sent out of clinic for testing, one of our reference laboratories would provide results within 24 hours. The following is a list of a few of the laboratory tests which we are able to run in-house:
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Comprehensive Biochemistry Profile with Urinalysis
Screening for Heartworm disease and tick-borne illnesses including Lyme disease
Fecal testing (with Giardia)
